About Polly Barton
Polly Barton's passion for design form in its beauty yet simple creation has transcended her 20 year successful career in brand packaging design working in London and Sydney. Originally from Henley-on-Thames in the UK, she lives in Sydney in New South Wales, Australia.
Polly’s love of the arts came to fruition through her studies at art college, followed by her university degree in graphic design. Her motivation and inspiration are driven by working directly with materials such as paints and clay and creating original artworks by hand.
With ceramics she enjoys creating the curvy soft undulating handmade forms, often with a coastal aesthetic. And she is inspired by the very fact that each piece is very much one-of-a-kind: individual in its form that serves both functionally and in its beauty.
Her finished ceramics are available for sale online; she also work with interior designers and retailers to supply distinct and exclusive ceramics for project design schedules, retail and home styling.
