I'm still coming down from the high of an incredible weekend at the Sydney Ceramics Market at Carriageworks — and I had to write about it properly.
The Sydney Ceramics Market at Carriageworks is one of the most special events on the Australian ceramics calendar. Held at the iconic Carriageworks arts precinct in Eveleigh, Sydney — 245 Wilson St, Eveleigh NSW 2015 — it brings together some of the country's finest ceramicists under one roof. Every year it gets bigger and better.
Meeting you in person
To everyone who stopped by my stall, had a chat, or took home a piece that spoke to you — thank you. Your support means the world and gives me the confidence to keep creating, exploring, and growing.
There's something about holding a handmade ceramic in person that no photograph can replicate — the weight, the texture, the subtle irregularities that make each piece unique. That's what the Sydney Ceramics Market is all about.
A heartfelt thank you to the team behind Sydney Ceramics Market — you truly know how to celebrate and champion ceramicists. And to my helper on the day — you're an absolute star.
What I brought to the market
This year's stall featured a curated selection of handmade pieces — wave bowls, serving platters, flower vases, and a few one-of-a-kind pieces that don't make it to the online store. The white wave series was particularly popular, alongside the new sculptural vases with ruffled folds and wave-like contours.
