Hand-built from Australian stoneware, this oversized egg-shaped vase with soft glaze colours, brings quiet elegance to any interior. Standing 30cm tall, its generous proportions make it equally striking displayed alone or filled with natural bush foliage.

Finished in a soft satin melted-mint glaze with subtle sage and smoky blue-grey undertones, the poured glaze drips reveal the warmth of the earthy caramel-chocolate glaze beneath. Every glaze pour and fire creates unique variations in colour and movement, ensuring no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Nature

The fluidity of pouring the glazes over each piece explores what happens when organic movement is captured in stoneware. This glaze colour and formation here resembles lichen growing on coastal rocks or the soft eucalyptus greens we can see in the Australian bush.
